How does Shift4 compare to Paypal?

Fees:

PayPal charges 2.9% and .30 cents per transaction compared to Shift4 at
2.7% and .25 cents per transaction.

Customer Service:

PayPal support means having to wait on hold to speak to a representative to
try and get answers

Shift4 gives us all an account manager so you know who you are dealing with
everytime. You can call or email with questions making it very convenient
and less frustrating as you're always dealing with the same person.

Parent do not need to have a Shift4 account, like PayPal they would simply
pay for their order using a major credit card.

Set up & Security:

Set up is done over the phone or email with the account manager; it's a
simple and quick process and the way Shift4 is set up makes issuing and
receiving payments extremely secure, in fact it's more secure then PayPal!

Each year we seem to have more PayPal issues rather than less. We are always
happy to help our schools and strive to give excellent customer service,
however, we are limited to correcting payment issues or other issues that
arise each year as we are not affiliated with PayPal. Most email questions
that come in to us are re-directed to PayPal, this is frustrating to us as
we know how time consuming and frustrating this is for you.

In regards Shift4, it is very rare to see an email or phone call come
through regarding payment troubles a school is having, as well this has
saved us hours of admin work. You don't have to
wait until September, start now and experience the difference Shift4 will
make!

To open an account please contact our account manager, Alycia Robinson. Phone:
250 984-8756 or email: alycia.robinson@shift4.com
